Christmas Day.

What? New pictures!?!? Surprise, surprise. =]
So yes, me and my family went on a little adventure to a preserve near my house on the Brandywine river and I took some pictures. Some are better than others.
This is my Favorite. [Above.]
This was out of focus so I thought I'd play around with it.
Tres typical shot. I think its pretty though.
-Gasp- A self portrait!!! =D Don't worry i'll do more with my self portraiture assignment, it won't be even a hint myspacey....hopefully.

Cari & The Navy Yard.

Cari and I where at the Philly Navy Yard for a SCAD portfolio review at the Urban Outfitters Headquarters [Probably one of the coolest buildings to work in ever.] I only got to take a few shots of Cari before my camera died. [Growl] But yeah I really want to go back to the Yard because it was fantastically cool. It'd be an awesome trip to do if we can figure out if we're aloud to be back there/who we need to contact to get permish.....
but yeah I love this picture.....edited it with the stuff i've been learning in class. =]

Random.

I took this of Stephanie on Halloween, I like the colours and the intensity of it....

Took this of Lauren a few days ago; Thought it was cute....I liked the angle and stuff...

Halloween.

These are some shots that I did of Lauren dressed up as a Vampire Bride for Halloween.

This is my favorite, I love how real it looks and that the teeth are out of focus =]
I like this one to, the focus is a little off but I think I like that about it....

Shutter Speed

In this photo Zach and I tried to get the shutter speed on my camera to work but apparently we couldn't get the aperture small enough to work with a long shutter speed. So the shutter is long enough to make Zach blurry but short enough not to wash out the photo.

Aperture.

What I learned: Small Aperture = High F-stop = Deep depth of field [everything is in focus]. Large Aperture = Low F-stop = Shallow depth of field [one thing is in focus, background/foreground/middle-ground; Depending how extreme] For my camera f/22 is the highest F-stop/Smallest aperture.

For the photo above is a low F-stop, f/4, and thus shows a shallow depth of field, making Claire's the only thing in focus.

In this photo, there is a high f-stop, f/10,  and thus shows a deep depth of field, making the background more focused than before.

Macro & Wide-Angle Pictures.

So, I borrowed a Wide-angle and a Macro Lense from Claire and I was experimenting with the lenses in West Chester today. :] Some of these are edited in Iphoto [I know, i'm sorry, I felt like doing some simple editing tonight haha] These are some of my favorite out of the pictures I got....
