Still Life

These are the only two that I got out of the pictures that I took and I only really like the globe one...whateves, I guess I should work on being more inspired by still lives? They're not really my thing...I'll work on it at home...=]

kri the globe one is beautiful. don't worry, i don't think you have to be inspired by still lifes. i hate them.

what you did with the color here is lovely...the lack of it - old, dark, sepia-ish juxtaposed to the vivid color of green - way nice.... u guys r all so weird + teenage rebel like this year - how can u hate still lifes?! esp. when the assignment also asks you to find still lifes that are naturally around us? (+ to set up objests in the studio that have some personal or metaphoric meaning to YOU!) this is what photographers do - we see the beauty in the objects around us....and sometimes we re-position them....setting up a still life in a studio may not be your thing...but it truly challenges the photographer to look at every spec of the frame and can be VERY helpful for other shooting - everyone just needs to be more open - it just feels better...
